Yasèmia is a women's brand founded in 2021 by Christina Kanellou and Maria Michael. What began with a strong friendship and a shared passion for art and design has developed into a brand that celebrates the beauty of details and the importance of craftsmanship.

The name “Yasèmia” is derived from “Yasemi” - the Greek word for “Jasmine flower”. This flower is a symbol of beauty, grace, and love, and grows both in Greece, the founders' home country, and in Egypt, the country where Christina spent part of her childhood. This Mediterranean heritage, combining both Greek and Egyptian influences, has deeply shaped Christina and continues to inspire her designs to this day.

In 2023, Maria and Christina went their separate ways, but Christina decided to continue Yasèmia's vision. Today, she lives in Düsseldorf with her husband, her three children, and her dog, but her love of art and design and her passion for Jewellery remain unwavering.

Our packaging is 100% eco-friendly and made from recyclable and biodegradable materials, such as our packaging boxes and cardboard paper.
